So, as this is a concept design, user can have all he/she wants. But from my side this might be the most unlikely concept design i ever came across .
Although details are pretty sketchy at this point of time, but Wall Street Journal reports that Microsoft and Verizon are in talks to release a touchscreen-based multimedia phone which will extend the Windows Mobile OS with some additional software capabilities. And it will have Windows Marketplace integrated as well.
So can this be a “Zune Phone” finally coming to life after being just a rumor, well not sure as the WSJ report doesn’t mention the Zune device at all. Also the report mentions that the phone will be developed by 3rd party.
With Palm Pre coming releasing pretty soon and now this new mystery “Pink” phone might give the new gen iPhone a good fight after all . We just have to wait and watch.
Ok details first Spinning Vinyl is a iPod touch based app which changes the speed of an MP3 song as you twist your iPod touch. So basically it works like a turntable and speed of the song changes based on how fast/slow you twist.
Check out the video, which gives all I am talking about :
New York Times sent their ace reporter to Shenzhen China which is “The” place where most of the fake/knockoffs Chinese based mobile phones gets developed.
And the reporter came with the facts that iPhone knockoffs are selling like hot cakes and are pretty popular as they come cheap for around $100-$150, comparing the original iPhone prices which ranges from $400-$600 based on the model and network provide plans/contract.
The report also shows the details that the usual Chinese mobile development cost is only around $40 or so.
As news are flying around in US, Apple may switch iPhone loyalties to Verizon from At&t, there is more spice being added to the fire that Apple is/might be making a “iPhone lite” prototype for Verizon, which will be a cheaper model and will be equipped with less features than the mainstream iPhone. I think “iPhone lite” is a rephrased term for the “iPhone Nano” , which is under discussion from so long. And every now and then some news on “iPhone Nano” crops up.
Bringing this news back home, So what it means for us in India, well nothing much, although there was a news sometime back that Apple is coming up with a edge only iPhone which will be available around the world. But its hard to believe on most of the news shared around as in these times as the release dates of new gen iPhone comes nearer, rumor mills are running non-stop .
