Apple Warns About MobileMe Phising Scams

MobileMe is a online service provided by Apple to sync your email contacts, calendar no matter what which device you use.You might have a Mac at home, a PC at work, and an iPhone or iPod touch. How do you keep them all in sync? With MobileMe, your email, contacts, and calendar stay the same wherever you check them. Recently MobileMe was involved in a lot of controversies and there were lots of phishing scams revolving around MobileMe. Now apple has officially declared asking users to be extra careful while dealing with MobileMe here : Being Phishing Aware

Some excerpt from Apple press note :
You will never receive a message from MobileMe asking you to send personal information over email. If we are ever unable to charge your credit card, for instance, we will send you a reminder email, but will not directly link to any web pages. The safest way to respond and update any necessary information is to type www.me.com into your browser and log in to your account directly. That way you can be confident you are at me.com and your personal information is secure.
