As we already know, BSNL already supports 3G and sometime they did a test launch for 3G in Pune. So, iPhone 3G coming to BSNL was inevitable. By coming december iPhone3g will be launched on BSNL network across the country.  And keeping the image of BSNL as the common man service provider, a lot of expectation is set on the price cut for iPhone 3G which is priced well above all reach of common man. We personally hope this works out and we see a price cut + iPhone 3G actually working on a 3G network.

Rejoice all iPhone fans , finally iPhone launched in India. And the first Indian owner of iPhone is a college student, Swati who was standing from 7pm in Sahara mall .So she got her due right even her phone was handed over to her by the president of Bharti Mobile Services, Sanjay Kapoor.

2. 16GB (White & Black) for Rs 36100

To celebrate the launch of the iPhone 3G in India, we will be opening three of our Airtel stores, one each in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore at the stroke of midnight 12.00am (Friday Morning) on August 22nd.

Join us early on the red carpet as we camp out throughout the evening.
We are expecting some long queues, so plan your day and reach the location as soon as possible. Remember, our stock is limited and will be available only on first cum first basis.

In Bangalore Midnight launch will be at :
Airtel Brand shop,
Divya Shree Towers,55,Bannerghatta Road,
Opp Jayadeva Hospital, Bangalore

Zee news channel has come up with new IPhone price details as follows :
Iphone 8gb Price will cost around Rs.26000(arnd $650) which will be without any contract.
And
Iphone 8gb with 24 month contract will cost you around : Rs 8,500($213) + 699($18)/month till the 24 month tenure.

With a new connection you will be able to get a free 3g connection. However If you want to keep using your old number with iphone you have to pay 3 month rental for 3g whenever it starts.

According to Tech2 India, one of the india’s most popular technology site the pricing of iPhone will cost a whooping Rs. 31,000 for 8 GB version, while the 16 GB version will cost between Rs. 36,000 and Rs. 37,000.
However the plans on which these phones will be available are still not disclosed by Airtel or Vodafone.

This was already predicted by Business Standard that it will be costliest in India on lack of subsidy.
