Along with the iPhone 4 issues there are some more complaints which are gaining voice from last few weeks. And its related to iPhone 3G, apparently the iPhone 3G becomes slow, looses battery fast and also becomes excessively hot with usage if you install iOS4 on it.

With so many customers raising concerns, Apple is saying that they will look into the matter. Few people are also saying that this was supposed to happen, so that people are “forced” to buy the new iPhone 4. Its all in Apple Discussion Forum thread. Conspiracy or No Conspiracy, if Apple says people can install iOS4 and enjoy it(minus few functionalities) on iPhone 3G, than it should work as expected.
After months of wait Google finally released their Google Latitude features in form of a web app for mobile devices including iPhone.
Google Latitude is basically a new feature in google maps where you will be able to see your friends on the map, where they are, and send them instant msgs or email. To access Google Latitude just type google.com/latitude into your iPhone browser and let the magic begin.

Please note that as per google the Latitude web app currently supports iPhone/iPod Touch OS 3.0 or above. So, i am not pretty sure how it will work out for you on older version of iPhone OS.
Newest iPhone OS 3.1 BETA 2 is released for developers testing. Its still a mystery that what updates is brining with it. I will update as soon as it find out, but there has to some improvements or some new features added right, otherwise what’s the point of releasing a new os version .
iPhone 3G S is launched and what better way to read about it all from a engadget review. So, do check it out atlink. In my view the new iPhone is indeed a great upgrade from iPhone 3G.
But we have to look at a price factor of iPhone 3gs in India. Currently a iPhone 3G is being sold for Rs 30,000 or so and considering iPhone 3GS is a new model, we can expect a price increase. If that happens I wont be surprised that history of low sales will be repeated. I sincerely hope this time Apple takes Indian customers in consideration and decides on the prices accordingly.

iPhone 3Gs Processor specs were not shared by Apple, but T Mobile Netherlands posted a detailed screen shot of new iPhone 3Gs with full processor specs. So, 256MB of RAM and a 600MHz CPU will be the processor details for iPhone 3Gs. Its a nice upgrade from earlier 128MB Ram and 412MHz CPU.
