Well the September Apple event is over we saw some new iPods and new iOS 4.1 update coming to iPhone pretty soon. Most important as Apple promised earlier, they fixed the issues with loading iOS 4 on iPhone 3G. As there were great number of complaints how the iOS 4 update made the iPhone 3G phones to crawl. But now with iOS 4.1 might be fixing it, so Lifehacker did a video of showing what is the actual improvement of iOS 4.1 over iOS 4 on iPhone 3G.
The video demonstrates the results, but here they are in all their glory:
So, results are not so attractive, but as lifehacker is mentioning the results may vary and are far from a scientific examination of both versions of iOS 4, we can see some more comparison when the iOS 4.1 comes out for masses. But still something is better than nothing .
We have been waiting long enough for a decent iPhone gamepad which will take the gaming on iPhone to a next level .With so many awesome gaming apps available for iPhone it was sensible enough for some company to come out with a game controller accessory but it never happened. The iControlPad is yet to make any progress(unfortunately) but now there is a new promising player in the arena and its called Gpod aka iPhone Gamepad . The Gpod is from CP design and they recently released a video showing the Gpod in action.
Enter the gPod, an iPhone case with integrated gaming control pad. Interfacing with the Apple 30 pin connector and providing tactile buttons in the conventional game pad layout, the iPhone Game Pad allows a massive library of arcade and console games to be ported to the iPhone and not lose that old school interface that people who grew up in the 80?s and 90?s enjoyed so much.

Please do note that its still in the prototype phase and no details of market availability are revealed. I just hope they get support from some company for mass production as this can be a sure shot hit with iPhone Gamers. I wonder why apple is not making something like this .
iPhone app store is having its fair share of racing based apps, out of which some are nonetheless amazing. But still Deliverace impresses you with its incredible graphics. Its being developed by Pixelbite games and will be coming out soon for your pleasure. In the mean time you can enjoy the gameplay/trailer video.
ByteMark Games just released their gaming app which is based on the movie “Dawn of the Dead” . Movie was surely a nice watch and if you are fan of the movie, the game will surely make a impression.
