So people we have more than just white and black colors for iPhone. a Mysterious Pink iPhone appeared on ebay. It looks genuine, not like some casing modification job but as there is no official announcement from Apple about it.

Or may be they are going to announce it on the Macworld in the coming week

The iPhone 3G unlock by iPhone Dev Team, which is coming in this month(tentatively) will work with latest iPhone Update.

The new snapshot on the iPhone Dev Team blog shows that the unlock for iPhone 3G will be compatible with the latest 2.2 firmware released by apple.

And we were thinking that the price( around $700) of iPhone 3G in India were absurd, in France FNAC is now selling free-of-contract iPhones, where 8GB model costs $1,123 and 16GB costs $1,263.

Only plus point that it is contract free but is that enough to make a big hole in your pocket. When At&t is planning to start selling $99 iphone with 2 year contract. If Vodafone or Airtel offered plans like At&t in India, they must have found more customers.

Seeing the festive season, AT&T is not leaving any stone unturned to sell as many iPhone’s as possible. That’s why AT&T is now selling iPhone from their online store where 8GB costs $199US, and 16GB $299.

While in India, its still the store hunting in your city to get yourself a iPhone.

Come on this is a bad consumer experience, well we all know they can’t just sell the iPhone at the price being set in US, but still atleast some price cuts should be made by Airtel and Vodafone. At&t in US is doing all it can to attract users towards iPhone by making regular price cuts and they will sell new refurbished iPhone for a price of $150, but in India prices are just stagnant since iPhone launch in India.

Seems like both Airtel and Vodafone has given up on iPhone and moved, that is why its even hard to see any advertising at all about iPhone in India.
