Please note that we sometimes cover other smart phone news as well, but iPhone remains our first love :-)

Royal Bank of Canada charted and prepared a list of Emerging iPhone Contenders. The chart includes and compares key features, data plans, app store details etc of phones like Palm Pre, G1 , HTC Diamond classified by their OS.

Check out the chart below(click to enlarge) :

The list is impressive and it may help people who want to look out for iPhone alternatives and decide what suits them. But is it worth the trouble, go for iPhone and you will be happy every after :-D

Google Mobile aka G1 will soon be getting its companion from HTC in form of G2 which is named as “Sapphire 2.0″. Some spy shots of white G2 were leaked which showed that it will be running on Android, having a 3.2 mpx camera and probably no physical keyboard.

Here is the spy shot of G2

g2, htc, leak, rumor, sapphire, sapphire 2.0, Sapphire2.0

In the initial thoughts G2 looks pretty good, but to know about the full spec list we have to wait a little.
