Royal Bank of Canada charted and prepared a list of Emerging iPhone Contenders. The chart includes and compares key features, data plans, app store details etc of phones like Palm Pre, G1 , HTC Diamond classified by their OS.

The list is impressive and it may help people who want to look out for iPhone alternatives and decide what suits them. But is it worth the trouble, go for iPhone and you will be happy every after
Google Mobile aka G1 will soon be getting its companion from HTC in form of G2 which is named as “Sapphire 2.0″. Some spy shots of white G2 were leaked which showed that it will be running on Android, having a 3.2 mpx camera and probably no physical keyboard.

In the initial thoughts G2 looks pretty good, but to know about the full spec list we have to wait a little.
Here a video in which Greg Sullivan Product Manager at Windows Mobile shows the mobile phones in the year 2008 which stood apart for windows mobile OS and boosted Microsoft smart phone market share.
All said and done, we all think that windows mobile need a stylish makeover to appeal for non business users as well, and if facts are right Microsoft is currently working into that direction only. Lets see what 2009 brings in for Windows Mobile.
