News for Nokia 5800 owners, firmware update v11.0.08 is out and its time to update and get some new features added to your phone. The new firmware addresses bugs in the web browser and music player and many more things.
There is news that the update is launched in phases like its out in Europe and may be not available in other parts of world. And also it was buzz that the Nokia 5800 that came out in India were preloaded with this update.
So if you are in India, check for the firmware version and update accordingly through the Nokia Software Update application.
People in India who are waiting to lay their hands on newly launched the N97 monster from Nokia, might have to wait around december 2010 to actually buy one. While talking to our source in Nokia, who is working on N97 design and is lucky enough to own one of few N97 released for testing, we got to know that N97 is still in its R&D stage and is pretty buggy as of now. So, N97 won’t be released anytime in near future for sure.
Even European countries and US might have to wait for around 6-7 months, to actually get their hands on a fully working model.
But as always really hope Nokia don’t delay the N97 so much, 12 months of wait seems pretty much.
