Google G1 Get Hijacked Or May Be Not?

Yesterday there was a stir caused in G1 community, in possible G1 hacking, in which users were trying to access sites like yahoo and were getting redirected to some download a antivirus page. But there is no news till now what caused the issue, some commented that it was due to the mobile carrier, some people said, it was a security issue and G1 was hacked.
In any case, its looks like that iPhone and its security flaws are not alone

Looks like just a bit of website madness to me, rather than a hack!
Yes Col, there is still no concrete reports on what may have caused this.
