iPhone 3G Unlock By Dev Team Will Be iPhone 2.2 Compatible

The iPhone 3G unlock by iPhone Dev Team, which is coming in this month(tentatively) will work with latest iPhone Update.

The new snapshot on the iPhone Dev Team blog shows that the unlock for iPhone 3G will be compatible with the latest 2.2 firmware released by apple.

    I am running firmware 2.2.1 on my iPhone 3G and have tried to run yellowsn0w several times but my iPhone is still locked!?!? Anyone have any ideas?

    @ Unlock iPhone 3G – You can’t unlock the 2.2.1 firmware with a software only solution, you have to use one of the PiggyBack SIM methods.
