iPhone 3GS Launch Dates And Prices In India Updates
Wow its been almost a wild week, I have been trying to get hold of some one who can actually confirm some details on the iPhone 3GS launch date and prices in India. So, here are the details I could gather till now. Please don’t take them as written on a stone, it may vary but its unlikely.
Airtel 3GS Prices
Rs. 32000 For 16GB Version
Rs 39000 For 32GB Version
Vodafone 3GS Prices
Rs. 30500 For 16GB Version
Rs. 37000 For 32GB Version
Launch Date
9th August – Airtel and Probably It will be same for vodafone as well not confirmed though.
iPhone 3G Prices Decreasing?
One thing to note here and I can comment on Vodafone is that, they may decreasing the existing iPhone 3G prices to about Rs 5000-Rs 4000 or so. Probably to clear out their stocks. So, iPhone 3G may land up in a Rs 22-23k price range which is juicy enough to attract people.
Guys and Gals the era of iPhone dominating the Indian market is starting

hey, i wud lyk 2 get ur idea, wethr i get an unlocked version of iphone from europe, then will it work in india,,will there be ne complications on my puttin a vodafone sim in it..
yup there wont be any complications, you just have to unlock it(which is a very simple process btw). Then you can use any sim on that.

I have used Iphone, nokia E and N series, blackberry 9000 and 8900, i can say that as a device nokia and blackberry is much better than iphone. Iphone has cool application that’s why people are more attracted towards the iphone, after using Nokia E72 and blackberry 9000 i personally believe that they are better phone then iphone but its not touch screen and for the touch screen N97 is awesome even in music and in camera quality is awesome, sony erricsion is coming with Xperia, i have seen the Xperia vedio on sony website and sony has made those phone really cool and even applications and themes are really cool…

go to ebay.co.in and search for iphone 3gs 16gb. You can find many there. Least I found was 31750 + 999(shipping)

In america iphone 3g 8gb costs $99 = Rs 4000 – 5000
iphone 3gs 16gb costs $199 = Rs 8000 – 9000
iphone 3gs 32gb costs $299 = Rs 12000-13000
Which is 3 times less than cost in india, why is there such a large difference? india sucks!!!!

Nope once you get it unlocked, it doesn’t gets locked again if you use iTunes, it does when you update it to a version (using iTunes) which doesn’t have a unlocking solution out yet.
