iTunes Like Installer Desktop Client Is Released

We covered it earlier when news of iTunes like software was being made by RipDev and now its been out and released. Installer app will let users to install applications from Cydia or Installer with a desktop software which until then was only possible by connecting iPhone to a wifi/3g/edge connection.

After installing the apps in Installer users will be able to sync the apps to their iPhone via USB connection like its being done with iTunes. So, in simple terms Installer App is a iTunes like desktop client for jailbreaked applications.

Support for Both Installing Solutions

Now you don’t have to make a choice between alternative installers, you can get the best of both worlds, Installer and Cydia — InstallerApp supports both! Just add a your favorite repository in the Preferences window and application will automatically recognize its type and will show the packages from that repository, so you’ll be able to download packages to your computer and install them to a USB-connnected iPhone.
