Royal Bank Of Scotland analyst Mike Abramsky is back with new reports claiming that transition from iPhone 3G to iPhone 3.0 might not be as effective on sales, as it was last year when iPhone to iPhone 3G transition took place.
Study mentions that although features offered in the new iPhone are pretty exciting and its generating enough amount interest from around the the world, it will not be same on new gen iPhone sales when it comes out in June 09.
The main reasons pointed out are bad economy and growing smartphone competition. Many rival companies are coming out feature rich touchscreen smartphones giving iPhone a stiff competition, mainly Palm Pre which is generating a great amount of buzz in the mobile industry. Although till now iPhone is on the top, thanks to the App store which is growing at a enormous speed. And now its all in the hands of Apple to come out with a new iPhone which will be too hard to resist and will kill the competition likes it been doing for the past 2 years
