Softbank Releases TV Tuner Accessory For iPhone
First few points about the TV Tuner
1. Its only available in Japan as of now.
2. Its a battery cum 1Seg TV Tuner.
3. You can only watch TV with the Tuner on a WiFi network.
4. It provides you only 1 hour of TV watching.
5. It costs around $108(Rs 5000).
All said and done, the TV tuner looks promising, however in India its hard to actually to imagine that this device will be of some use with very limited Wifi connectivity available. And yes they have to increase the battery life we if they want the iPhone users to buy and carry out a big accessory like this.

I think this post is misguiding, I assume the wifi connection is required between the tv tuner card and the iphone. Which could be carried out easily. Since the tv tuner card has an wifi router.
We need to think whether the tv tuner card will be able to catch the tv signals.
