Make sure you have the latest firmware version on your iPhone when you update, this fixed the issue for me.

Has anyone tried the guide on iClarified? I tried it on my iPhone 3g and now I can’t get any signal at all.. i’m trying to use the iPhone on tmobile, any help is much appriciated!
