This is in respose to your iphone cell guru episode dated 22nd Aug 08′.
I believe the hype and hoopla surrounding the iphone launch in India is a case of getting a billion people to get awestruck much the way Americans did at their launch.
31000 Rs for the 8 GB version and 36000 Rs for double the memory is a case of cashing in on people who have money to spend, driven by the hype.
The strangest bit is the fact that it is being promoted as a 3G phone, whereas 3G still ain’t in India as yet. So basically people are paying for a peice of hardware which will only perform one of its key functions of 3G net browsing sometime in the future. By then 3G phone prices are sure to drop anyways.
Till then the iphone is just a nice GUI based smart phone, slick looks, slicker display.
So all people falling for the hype are’nt gonna be able to check out the phone’s 3G capable browsing speeds as of now (what a pity!!!), and to add to that a locked up phone dedicated to only a single service provider’s SIM. Crazy people who queue up for such gimmick!!!!!!
And to answer your question of the episode: what additional feature I’d like to see in the iphone.
1. Perhaps A2DP bluetooth would’ve been nice for this category of phone.
2. More importantly, a front video camera for video calling, which I feel is a must have feature for a 3G capable phone.

voice recognition i mean watever u speak gets on to ur iphone in this way peopple would not have to keep messaging 4 long they can save time and they can enter their contacts within a whisker of a second
it could have fingerprint or face recognition so that ur personal data would not b leaked

All are dumb if buying at this upsurd price.
hmmm.. fiest one is the camera.. quality and video recording.. then it should have some sis operations also.. i mean i want phone which should run every thing java, sis. itunes, realplayer,etc touchscreen..if iphone can get all this in decent price i promise it wil hit the market superbly..
my second sugestion is to add a solar cell in it so that rather charging iphone through electricity,it can be easily and efficiently charge its battery from sunlight. ITS NATURAL AND SAFE .you can do this by simply keeping your phone every where even direct to sunlight or sunlight coming in your office and room after reflecting.
I know APPLE has to make lots of changes like different screen, heat ressist body (light steel).but future i phone should be way ahead from others.

provide a stylus and a MicroSoft paint like application in the iphone all the artistic people in world will cherish having one in the phone and some very fortunate kids who’s parents own an iphone.
add a feature such that the images that are created through that application can be forwarded through mail/MMS.
